This project will take place March 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Tutor high school math students
Volunteers are needed to work with Philadelphia school students one-on-one and in groups at Lamberton High school.
Volunteers will be able enrich students education while influencing their college and career decisions. The students are motivated and eager to begin work with a college tutor. The Center for Civic Engagement will provide SEPTA tokens for transportation. Students may also participate as part of the work study program. Contact Ann Clay Alexander in the Center for Civic Engagement at ann.clay@drexel.edu.
The schedule is flexible, and all expenses will be covered. Volunteers have the opportunity to work a few open hours between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Interested students should contact cce@drexel.edu or rmc39@drexel.edu.
