Free FAFSA help available to students, deadline May 1

The deadline to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid is May 1. For students to be eligible for federal, state and university funding the application must be complete by the deadline. The Financial Aid office will offer free help to students by hosting two workshops, led by Bill Copperthwaite, an attorney and consultant to area colleges and universities. Participants will be able to walk through the entire form, line-by-line, have FAFSA questions and concerns addressed and receive general information about financing a Drexel education.

Workshops will take place Mar. 1 and Mar. 2 from 6-7 p.m. in the Westphal Picture Gallery.

Drexel announces seventh annual Research Day

Drexel's Seventh Annual Research Day will take place at the Daskalakis Athletic Center April 26. The event is sponsored by the Office of Research and Graduate Policy and is open to all faculty, students, post-doctoral fellows, residents and technologists. March Madness Dodgeball Tournament

The DAC will be hosting a March Madness Dodgeball Tournament Mar. 6 from 5-9 p.m. The tournament will have full court games using regulation dodgeballs in which the winner takes all. Registration will take place at the event from 4:30 to 5 p.m. Teams will consist of six to 10 players with registration being $5 per person. All proceeds will go to the Tsunami Relief American Red Cross Fund.

Drexel celebrates Dali Exhibition

The Philadelphia Museum of Art is hosting an exhibition of the work of Salvador Dali, a Spanish surrealist artist, Feb. 16 to May 15. Drexel will be showcasing its Dali collection on the University City Main Campus. Dali lithographs will be on display in the Rincliffe Gallery while 25 Dali prints will be on display on the lower level of the Hagerty Library.
