Conflicting reports from the Campus Activites Board last week have left students deterred over the major event of homecoming week -- the Crystal Ball. According to an e-mail received from CAB President Claire Lehman regarding possibilities of group reservations by Resident Assistants for their residents, she said, "... since group sales were not advertised to all organizations we can not make an exception...I like the idea of [bringing] together the residents at this event, but unfortunately we can not hold or reserve tickets for you and the group."
In another e-mail addressing RAs received Jan. 26, the CAB's Chrissy Bush, stated, "we are offering you the opportunity to reserve tickets for your floor." Upon investigation, The Triangle found out that Lehman was not informed about the latter e-mail and did not have any information for group reservations. Residents initially excited by the prospects of having their RAs reserve tickets from them were discerned in the process, leaving ticket sales extremely low.
