Ever wondered what solipsism is all about or wanted to learn about the mysteries behind stagflation? Maybe you want to find more information about mouth ulcers or the current status of the AIDS epidemic? Or do you feel like taking it easy and brushing up on your Gregorian chants instead? If so, then the Wikipedia (http://www.wikipedia.org) is what you are looking for. While you are there, you could even find out the Answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything.
Wikipedia is the modern day encyclopedia, updated almost as quickly and as often as news happens. Gone are the days of sifting through massive volumes of encyclopedias to find the one piece of information you need. Now it's all on the web in one accurate, constantly expanding database. You can find nearly anything you want within the pages of Wikipedia such as history, technology, geography, politics and art, in addition to current events and tons of random yet interesting bits of information.
So what happens when you are unable to find information on a specific topic? Simple, add it yourself. Wikipedia is released under the GNU Free Documentation License and is based around the wiki model, which invites anyone and everyone to submit changes to better the site content quickly and easily. In fact, wiki wiki is Hawaiian for "quick" or "super-fast."
Since its initiation in January 15, 2001, Wikipedia has grown to be the world's largest encyclopedia and now can be viewed in over 100 different languages. With an average of 2,500 new entries being added per day, the million-entry mark was reached on September 21, 2004 and is still growing, more quickly than ever. It's a great place for anyone to simply peruse for leisure, use as a starting point for research, or contribute.
By the way, solipsism is the belief that only oneself exists and that everything else is simply a part of one's mind. Stagflation is used in economics to describe a period of a high rate of inflation combined with unemployment and recession. And the Answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything is 42. Naturally.

It is logically impossible to add information to Wikipedia that one can not find.
