Burglars are no lesser individuals than rest of us
Wrong Turn

I've been thinking about the state of our nation, and indeed, the state of the planet. It is a sad state we live in today. Governments and other individuals and organizations exert ruthless control over entrepreneurial individuals, crushing their free spirit and rendering them worthless to society.
Some sections of society such as the followers of Ayn Rand and the various Objectivist Clubs around the country go to a small extent to rid society of this oppressive control, but they don't go far enough to help these oppressed peoples. Who am I talking about? Of course, I'm talking about the sophisticated free thinkers whom our society has branded as "criminals."
My argument is that people should be rewarded based on their intelligence and ability to come up in life. Take the specific instance of an entrepreneurial individual who with great trouble manages to get a hold of another person's credit card information, and uses this information to buy goods and further his own success. Surely it can be seen that this individual worked just as hard in procuring another's credit card information as that individual worked in an "honest" job to earn that money. So hasn't this person who has "stolen" the money in all actuality earned it through hard work?
This isn't the only instance where people are crushed by government regulation. Take the case of someone that the government would dismiss as "burglars" making them sound lazy and not worthy of success. The reality is like this: These "burglars" are intelligent citizens, who are gifted architecturally and take great care and detail in studying the structure and layout of many different types of houses and real estate. After achieving mastery in this form of architecture, they spend hours and hours perfecting their physical abilities to maneuver through tight spaces, as well as undergo rigorous training to ensure that they can run along with any sprinter worth his salt. After spending months training tediously, these individuals finally apply their skills to the real world, and are aptly rewarded in most cases.
Yet instead of applauding their success and free spirit, and encouraging them to do more of the same, the world and society in general looks down upon them, and tries to use law enforcement and other draconian branches of big government to track them down and punish them for having the spirit of free enterprise on their minds. Who is to say that the work these people do is any less worthy of success than that of a doctor, a lawyer, or a teacher? These people are shunned by society, and the contradictions from all sects of the political spectrum continue to sting them.
The right wing economic capitalism gurus advocate free enterprise when it comes to business and corporate CEOs becoming richer. What about the little guy? Who is to say that the burglar next door is any less worthy of success than the CEO of Megacorp? These people advocate less government, but whenever they get the chance, they use it to crack down mercilessly and dominate these individuals that I'm talking about.
Think the left is any better? Think again! Those pot-smoking hippies shout egalitarianism and equality from the rooftops. Sure, some of them might sympathize with the robbers and burglars, but most of them would just have these guys locked up because they're afraid of their pot being stolen. If you're so dumb or so stoned that someone can walk into your house, and walk away with your property, isn't that person more deserving of it than you? So we can see that the left also cruelly betrays these hapless individuals.
What about the moderates/centrists you say? Well, they're busy buying burglar alarms and other "security" devices to make life even tougher than it already is for these people. If you agree, e-mail criminalsneedrightstoo@anarchynow.com.
