Drexel Dragons receive NIT bid
Men's basketball to take on VIllanova March 17

The Drexel men's basketball team will appear in the postseason for the second consecutive year after being selected to play in the National Invitation Tournament March 14.
The Dragons will head to Villanova March 17 to take on a hot Wildcats team that made a run in the Big East championship tournament, winning two games before losing to Connecticut.
Drexel was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Colonial Athletic Association March 6, losing to North Carolina-Wilmington. The Dragons lost to Temple in the first round of the NIT last season.
Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. at the Pavilion at Villanova. Tickets for the game will be made available through the Drexel Ticket Office beginning at 9 a.m. March 16. The cost is either $10 or $20, depending on seat selection and availability. The ticket office number is 1-866-4-DREXEL.
