Marginean honored at 106th Annual PSWA Awards

As a member of the Romanian Under-20 National team, Gabriela Marginean averaged 19.5 points and seven rebounds per game and was named a team captain. Sounds like an international talent that should be highly touted. Fortunately for Drexel, Marginean was relatively unknown and turned out to be a great discovery for her coach, Denise Dillon.

Drexel loses lead, win streak

The Drexel women's basketball team was stunned by Towson 53-48 Feb. 4 at the Towson Center in Towson, Md. as the Tigers snapped the Dragons' six-game winning streak. Senior forward Gabriela Marginean had a game-high 28 points for Drexel (14-7, 8-2 Colonial Athletic Association), but it was not enough.
