By Alex Falk

Gabriela Marginean made her 22nd birthday one to remember. Marginean scored a season-high 40 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, leading Drexel to its seventh straight win, a 67-55 victory over Old Dominion Feb. 12 at the Daskalakis Athletic Center. Do you believe in miracles? The Drexel men's basketball team certainly does - especially after it faced seemingly insurmountable odds against Northeastern. Scott Rodgers and Samme Givens were saddled with foul trouble early in the first half against Old Dominion. And without its best dribble-drive threat and high-post pick-and-roll forward Drexel was stymied by the Monarchs' active zone defense. The Dragons were held to just 14 points and shot only 20 percent in the first half as they suffered their second straight loss, 63-53, at the hands of ODU Feb.

By Mike Mazzeo

Marissa Crane didn't know her name was going to be called with the game hanging in the balance. However, when she did get her chance, she certainly came through. Crane knocked down a short jumper inside the key with two seconds left in overtime to snap a 74-all tie and give the women's basketball team a dramatic 76-74 victory over the William & Mary Tribe Feb.
