President-elect Barack Obama has changed the face of America. The conservatives of our country never fathomed the idea of a black chief executive, but frankly John McCain must have foreseen his loss a month before the election. Though for Republicans like myself, it's not easy to admit that Obama was by far the more ideal candidate for presidency.

Dear Editor, I do not know if you are aware that University Crossings, which houses mainly Drexel University students, does not have recycling available to its residents. I am a resident at University Crossings, and since around a week after I moved in, I have been meeting with Chad Broadwell, the manager, trying to get recycling for every floor of the building.
Dear Editor, Last week in Mumbai, a series of extremely tragic and unsettling terror attacks were launched against ethnic and religious groups of many nations. Innocent lives were abruptly ended when militants raided and set aflame the Taj Mahal hotel and the Nariman House, among other locations.
President-elect Barack Obama visited Philadelphia Dec. 2, but for a different purpose than in previous months - to convene with the National Governors Association, discussing a variety of issues, most notably the economic crisis. According to the NGA, this is the first time a president-elect has met with this organization.
