Democratic nominee Sen. Barack Obama has won the votes necessary to become the new president-elect of the United States, defeating the Republican nominee, Sen. John McCain, according to the Wall Street Journal. Although the results of the race in Missouri have yet to be called, Obama has secured 364 electoral votes, placing him over the 270 votes necessary to win.
Gregory Atkins has been appointed director of Student Accounts/Bursar at Drexel University by Thomas Elzey, senior vice president for finance, treasurer and chief financial officer.
