Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) has won the votes necessary to become President of the United States, defeating Republican nominee, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.),according to the Wall Street Journal. As of 1:38 a.m., Obama had secured 52 percent of the nation's popular vote, with 338 electoral votes.

Freshmen can now use DegreeWorks, a new web-based advising software, for scheduling, according to Harri Weinberg, senior systems analyst in the academic information and systems department. Two students were robbed at gunpoint inside their home on 3200 Summer St. Oct. 28 around 4 p.m. when perpetrators entered the house through an unlocked door, according to an incident report from Drexel's Department of Public Safety. One victim was lying on the couch and one was in the house when two suspects entered the house through an unlocked door, according to Robert Lis, assistant director of investigations for Drexel Public Safety.
