Mike Crosse has had a knack for coming up with timely goals of late. His most recent-and most important-of the season, came at a time Drexel needed it the most. Crosse connected on a header off a cross from Carlos Ruthner with just 47 seconds remaining in double overtime, netting the Golden Goal and giving the Dragons a 2-1 victory over Northeastern Oct.
After having a very successful season and finishing tied for third in the conference (18-12, 5-3 Colonial Athletic Association), the women's basketball team looks to remain in the top four in the CAA. According to a vote of the league's coaches, sports information directors and media, the Lady Dragons were pre-ranked fourth in the conference behind Old Dominion, who is going for its 18th straight CAA Title, VCU and James Madison.
