Crosse's Golden Goal vaults Dragons into second

Mike Crosse has had a knack for coming up with timely goals of late. His most recent­-and most important-of the season, came at a time Drexel needed it the most. Crosse connected on a header off a cross from Carlos Ruthner with just 47 seconds remaining in double overtime, netting the Golden Goal and giving the Dragons a 2-1 victory over Northeastern Oct.

Lady Dragons picked fourth

After having a very successful season and finishing tied for third in the conference (18-12, 5-3 Colonial Athletic Association), the women's basketball team looks to remain in the top four in the CAA. According to a vote of the league's coaches, sports information directors and media, the Lady Dragons were pre-ranked fourth in the conference behind Old Dominion, who is going for its 18th straight CAA Title, VCU and James Madison.

Men's basketball picked last in CAA conference

After last year's disappointing season (12-20, 5-13 Colonial Athletic Association), the men's basketball team hopes to turn things around-but without its best player, it may be a difficult challenge. According to a vote of the league's coaches, sports information directors and media, Drexel is predicted to finish last in the conference.
