10 Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions The newest in the long running Tactics series, the war of the Lions, is proof that even the oldest formulas can be reworked for the better. Tactics follows the same presentation as before, with isometric 2-D sprites walking about nicely rendered 3D environments.

Nodes 'defined' struggle to listen

Here at The Triangle, record companies send us CDs to review and most of those CDs end up in a bin on Dave, the entertainment editor's desk. That is where I came across Nodes of Ranvier's Defined by Struggle. On a cursory look at the CD case, I noticed the band was on Victory Records, whose current roster includes The Sleeping, Comeback Kid, Bayside, Thursday, Taking Back Sunday and Hawthorne Heights.

This week's Ale: Unibroue Chambly Noire

In the interest of full disclosure, I should begin with a disclaimer: I don't really like stouts. Yet here I am, actually reviewing one. If it were up to me, I probably would not have bought Unibroue's Chambly Noire if I knew it was a stout. After all, it says "dark ale" on the label, and Unibroue certainly does make some tasty "dark ales" (just try a Trois Pistoles).

'Mist' comes down on horror films

(U-WIRE) TUCSON, Ariz. - It is pretty safe to say that 90 percent of horror movies are complete trash. From slasher flicks to zombie movies, most of them are rife with scantily clad teenagers, disfigured villains and an occasional demonic entity. No one expects anything out of horror movies other than entertainment - and even that is sometimes a stretch.
