Spring Break
If you don't see Jane Wagner's "The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe" produced often (or well), it's because planets practically have to align to make it work. With the role so firmly established by actress Lily Tomlin in the late 1980s, this one-woman, 19 character, comedic tour de force calls for an actress with the stamina and versatility to pull off all the roles convincingly.
Fall is here. The autumn marks a big change in seasons. The leaves fall off the trees and change color, and a lot of new produce comes into season. Most notably is the pumpkin. For most people this means pumpkin pie or pumpkin bread. For me, this means pumpkin ale.
After a year and half of straight touring on their debut album, Between the Heart and the Synapse, the six-piece experimental rock outfit from Boston, Mass. parted ways with a staple member of the band, guitarist/vocalist Casey Cresenzo. Not even losing a crucial member of the band would stop TREOS.
With what seems like the release of a book coveted by our generation, Stephen Colbert's I Am America (And So Can You!) made its way to bookshelves this past Tuesday morning. The statement that it is a coveted book comes from the concept that in the past two days since its release, there have been six attempts of theft on this particular copy since it's purchase.
