Timothy Lynch, a 23-year-old resident of Langhorne, Pa., was the victim of a serious assault that occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. Oct. 9 in University City. Witnesses say that Lynch was returning home after spending the evening in the University City area when he was attacked by an unknown assailant near 39th St.
After a national search, the University has acquired William Bennett as it's new Vice President for Facilities Management. Bennett, has had many years of experience in the facilities field including his 21 years in the United States Navy. Facilities management oversees various University needs including energy management, maintenance, transportation, renovations and grounds keeping.
Scott Kennedy, cofounder of the early-nineties touring act The Gay Comedy Jam, spoke to students Oct. 11 in Behrakis Grand Hall as part of National Coming Out Day.
