So, it's been great to see real reporting going on. I was glad to see that you actually asked questions of the administration and didn't just print what they told you to print.

On June 12, I was attending my son's commencement ceremony. It was a great day for Drexel University, its graduates and their families and friends. However, it was marred by Professor Jacqueline Mancall. Professor Mancall had the honor of representing the faculty and was supposed to give a speech honoring the graduates.

Terrorism cannot be solved by appeasement

Spoken like a true 'peace is the only answer' liberal, Vivek Thuppil's latest commentary ("Israeli actions brutal, excessive and condemnable," The Triangle, May 28, p. 14) criticizing the Israelis for acting in self-defense not only defines the liberals' view toward a sovereign nation's right to protecting itself, but it also characterizes the very attitude that caused Israel, the United Sates, and the entire world to witness the atrocities of modern terrorism: tolerance and indolence.

Columnist finds corporate beer slapfight funny

Plenty of funny things have happened this year so far. Some were intentional, like many of the gags in the movie Starsky and Hutch, while some of them were unintentionally comedic. Usually, the stuff that happens unintentionally is the funniest. The latest example of such unintentional laughs comes from a corporate slap-fight between America's two biggest beer breweries.

Ah, college, the prerequisite independent years that mark the beginning of adulthood: what better environment to lay the seeds of political leaning and activism? Groups from all over the political spectrum know that it is important to garner as many people from this demographic as they possibly can to not only increase this relatively weak voter base, but to obtain followers for the distant future.
